[4/9/2016] Taiga Egoshi hits home runs in three consecutive trips to the plate

Taiga Egoshi hit home runs in three consecutive trips to the plate, spanning three different games: April 3 against Yokohama, April 7 against Yomiuri, and April 8 against Hiroshima.

The last Hanshin player to hit home runs in three consecutive trips to the plate was Craig Brazell on June 29, 2010 (first at bat to third at bat) against Chunichi. The last Japanese Hanshin player was Tomoaki Kanemoto on April 10, 2009 (second at bat to fourth at bat) against Yomiuri.

Sadaaki Yoshimura and Morimichi Takagi have hit home runs in three or more consecutive trips to the plate, spanning three different games. Yoshimura: three home runs in 1983 between June 29 and July 1. Takagi: four home runs in 1977 between June 12 and 14.
