Tomoyuki Sugano left the Yokohama game at Tokyo Dome early with a popped blister.

Sugano had a blister on his right middle finger that popped in the second inning. He managed to keep pitching because he drained it in between innings. The finger started getting numb in the sixth inning. He gave pitching coach Kiyoshi Toyoda a full update about the blister after the seventh inning.
