[5/2/2016] Hiroshima scored thirty-one runs against Chunichi

The Hiroshima Carp scored thirty-one runs (nine, twelve, ten) during their three-game sweep against the Chunichi Dragons (April 29 – May 1). It was the first time the Carp scored at least thirty runs in a three-game series since they scored thirty-three runs (twenty, three, ten) against Yokohama between May 31 and June 2, 1996. It was the first time they scored at least nine runs in three or more games since 1981 (June 20-22 against Yakult and June 23 against Hanshin; nine, fifteen, thirteen, nine).
