[5/7/2016] Dayan Viciedo jacks two in one inning

Dayan Viciedo blasted two home runs in the second inning against the Yomiuri Giants at Tokyo Dome earlier today — he led off the inning with a solo home run to left and eight hitters later, deposited the first pitch he saw into the seats in right for a three-run home run.

He is the nineteenth hitter in NPB history (tenth in Central League history) to hit two home runs in the same inning, first since Craig Brazell on August 26, 2009. Only one other player in franchise history has accomplished the feat: Yasunori Oshima on August 2, 1972 and August 9, 1977.
