Yudai Ono (left elbow) pitched in a batting practice scrimmage at Nagoya Stadium earlier today. It was his first scrimmage since his injury. He pitched two perfect innings and threw twenty-one pitches. He needed just eight pitches to get through the first inning.
Ono is set to throw about seventy pitches in his first Ni-gun rehab game on May 21 against Orix. He would like to make it back to the active roster in time for the Yakult at Nagoya Dome series that begins on May 27.
