Dennis Sarfate notched a save tonight and reached a number of milestones.
- He became the twelfth pitcher in NPB history to record 150 saves. He recorded the first save of his career on April 14, 2011 as a member of the Hiroshima Carp against the Hanshin Tigers.
- He became the second foreign pitcher in NPB history to reach 150 saves. The other: Marc Kroon (177).
- He set a new Pacific League record with his twelfth save of the month. The previous record of eleven was held by Hisashi Takeda (September 2012) and Yoshihisa Hirano (April 2014). The NPB record of fourteen was set by Kazuhiro Sasaki in August 1997.
