Shunsuke Fujikawa had to be taken off the field on a stretcher after he crashed into Masahiro Nakatani on the final play of a game against the Hiroshima Carp at Mazda Stadium earlier today.
The Carp tied the score at three in the bottom of the ninth with a bases loaded, two-out RBI single to left by Tsubasa Aizawa.
