Juri Hara’s night was cut short because of discomfort in his right shoulder.
Hara started tonight’s game against the Hiroshima Carp at Mazda Stadium. He tossed two perfect innings then allowed the first two hitters to reach base on singles in the third inning. Hara left the field after a visit from Shingo Takatsu (pitching coach) and Mitsuru Manaka motioned for a new pitcher.
The Yakult Swallows later announced Hara was removed from the game because of discomfort in his right shoulder
[UPDATE 6/30 @ 5:25am]
Hara felt pain in his shoulder before the start, but felt he could pitch through it.
