Fumiya Hojo: Did You Know

Fumiya Hojo pushed his weight to eighty kilograms before the start of the 2016 season. He dropped four kilograms during the exhibition game season and weighed seventy-seven kilograms on June 29. He knows he needs to keep an eye on his weight, especially with the hot summer months coming. He tries to eat small snacks, like bananas, during games, in addition to meals after games.

Hojo has improved his running time for the thirty-meter dash:

  • 4.32 seconds during fall camp last year
  • 4.15 seconds during spring camp this year
  • 4.09 seconds during fall practice this year
