[7/21/2016] Yoshitomo Tsutsugo recorded back-to-back two homer games

Yoshitomo Tsutsugo recorded his second straight two home run game on July 20. He also recorded two straight two home run games in 2014 (July 15 and 16). He is the eleventh player since 1950 to record back-to-back multi home run games two or more times during their career. Only four other Central League players have accomplished the feat: Sadaharu Oh in 1967 and 1976, Masaru Uno in 1985 (twice), Katsumi Hirosawa in 1986 and 1992, and Shinnosuke Abe in 2004 (twice) and 2014.

Tsutsugo has recorded six multi home run games this season and tied a Yokohama franchise record shared by Leon Lee (1985), Bobby Rose (1999), Woods (2003), and Tamura (2004). He set a new Yokohama franchise record with four multi home run games in one month (July). Carlos Ponce (May 1987), Tyrone Woods (September 2003), and Hitoshi Tamura (May 2005) held the previous record with three.
