[8/25/2016] 18U Samurai Japan beats Waseda University, 5-4

The 18U Samurai Japan team played a practice game against Waseda University on August 25 and recorded a 5-4 win.

Naruki Terashima started the game for Samurai Japan. He gave up two runs on three hits over three innings of work and struck out two. Takahisa Hayakawa relieved Terashima and gave up a run on two hits over three innings. Mizuki Hori pitched the final three frames and allowed a run on three hits. He also struck out seven.

Ryuhei Kuki got the start at designated hitter and batted clean-up. He hit a three-run home run in the first inning. The other two runs scored on sac flies: one by Yuki Sato in the fourth and the other by Taisei Irie in the eighth.
