[8/28/2016] Masanori Ishikawa reaches 150 victories

Masanori Ishikawa picked up his 150th career victory during a game against the Hanshin Tigers at Koshien Stadium on August 27. He is the forty-eighth player in NPB history to reach the milestone. Only two other pitchers in franchise history have more victories: Masaichi Kaneda with 353 and Hiromu Matsuoka with 191. He is the twelfth left-handed pitcher in NPB history to record 150 wins and the first left-handed pitcher out of college. At 167 centimeters, Ishikawa and Ryohei Hasegawa (197 victories) are the shortest players to record at least 150 victories.
