[8/28/2016] Seiya Suzuki records second two-homer game of the season

Seiya Suzuki blasted his twentieth and twenty-first home runs during a game against the Chunichi Dragons at Nagoya Dome on August 27. It was his second two-homer game of the season.

With his twentieth home run of the season, Suzuki became the first Japanese Carp to hit at least twenty home runs in one season since Kenta Kurihara hit twenty-three in 2009. He also joined Sachio Kinugasa (twenty-one in 1968, fourth year) and Tomonori Maeda (twenty-seven in 1993, fourth year) as the only players out of high school in franchise history to hit at least twenty home runs in one season within their first four years.
