Japhet Amador hurt his left side while playing in Friday’s game against the Softbank Hawks at kobo Stadium.
With a runner on first and two out in the eighth inning, Amador cringed during his at bat (with the count 1-1). A trainer checked in with him and he remained in the game and recorded a single to center. He was then replaced by a pinch-runner and taken to the hospital. He may not be able to play on Saturday (September 3).
