Dai-Kang Yoh missed the Lotte game on September 17 because of pain in his right side. He suffered the injury when he caught a ball up against the wall during an Orix game on August 16.
Yoh recently told reporters that he was diagnosed with a fracture in his sixth and seventh ribs on the right side during an examination at a hospital in Sapporo on September 7 and that he had been playing through the pain. The ribs were now healed, but Yoh was still feeling pain when he threw the ball.
The Nippon Ham Fighters are not planning to take Yoh off the active roster and will use him based on how he is feeling.
