2017 Orix Buffaloes Coaching Staff Rumors

Mitsunobu Takahashi could be offered a hitting coach job after the Buffaloes announced that they were not going to renew contracts for hitting coaches Yoshihiko Takahashi and Hirotoshi Kitagawa.

Takahashi has been working with the Buffaloes since January this year. He became more of a full-time hitting instructor/adviser partway through the season.

The Buffaloes are also thinking about promoting Ni-gun Hitting Coach Shinji Shimoyama to Ichi-gun hitting coach.
