[4/4/2017] Shota Imanaga leaves games early with leg cramp

Shota Imanaga called over to the trainer after he throwing four pitches to Seiji Kobayashi in the seventh inning of tonight’s game against the Yomiuri Giants at Yokohama Stadium. He was removed from the game with discomfort in his left hamstring. He had to be helped off the field. The media later learned that he developed a cramp in his hamstring.

Imanaga was able to participate in pre-game practices today. He told reporters that his leg was fine and that he did not require a hospital visit for tests. He is not expected to miss his next start.
