Toshiaki Imae was taken off the active roster today with pain in his right thigh. He felt pain near his right knee during yesterday’s game against the Softbank Hawks and was pulled on defense in the sixth inning. He was taken to a hospital in Sendai for tests and diagnosed with inflammation in the semitendinosus muscle.
[UPDATE 4/21 @ 6:03pm]
Imae rejoined the Ichi-gun team for practices on April 20. He was added to the active roster today. He went 4-for-6 (all singles) in two Ni-gun rehab games.
