Takuya Nakashima and Kensuke Kondo both left the Orix game on May 5 early.
Nakashima hit a grounder to short in the top of the ninth and lost his balance when he was tagged on the back by Orix first baseman Eiichi Koyano. He grimaced, but was able to walk without any assistance. He did not return to the field in the bottom of the inning.
Kondo tweaked his leg during his at bat in the seventh inning (he limped his way back to the dugout after he grounded out to short). He was replaced by a pinch-hitter in the eighth.
