[6/4/2017] Kensuke Kondo misses game with hamstring tightness

Kensuke Kondo did not play in today’s game against the Hashin Tigers at Koshien Stadium because of tightness in his right hamstring. He was examined at a hospital in Nishinomiya. An MRI did not reveal any bleeding or inflammation. He is considered day-to-day.

Kondo was re-examined at a hospital in Sapporo earlier today. An MRI once again revealed no internal bleeding or inflammation. He will most likely return to the starting line-up tomorrow (June 6).

Kondo was limited to pinch-hitting duties on June 6. He is considered day-to-day.
