The Hanshin Tigers are exploring the overseas market for some help.
According to Sanspo, the Tigers are primarily looking at options at first base. Possible candidates could include thirty-two-year-old Matt McBride, thirty-two-year-old Jim Adduci, and twenty-eight-year-old Will Middlebrooks. They are not in a rush to add another bat right away, but want to be prepared in case they need to sign someone before the July deadline.
Nikkan Sports posted a report that the Tigers are putting together a list of options at first base and the outfield. They may be keeping an eye on former NPB players, like thirty-seven-year-old Hector Luna, thirty-four-year-old Anderson Hernandez, and twenty-eight-year-old Rainel Rosario.
