The Seibu Lions announced today that they filed paperwork to place thirty-five-year-old Alexis Candelario on waivers.
Candelario pitched in just one Ichi-gun game for the Lions. He started a game against Softbank on May 2 and gave up seven runs (all earned) on nine hits, including two home runs, over three innings of work. He faced nineteen, walked two, and struck out six.
