According to Sponichi, Yokohama Bay Stars will be parting ways with thirty-seven-year-old Yasutomo Kubo because they could not come to terms on an agreement. People close to the situation told reports that the Bay Stars offered Kubo a contract with a substantial pay cut in mid-September.
Kubo wants to continue playing next year and will consider all options, including opportunities overseas.
