The Chunichi Dragons are thinking about purchasing a virtual reality (VR) system. The VR systems, currently used by teams like the Rakuten Eagles and Yokohama Bay Stars, help hitters visualize various deliveries and pitch motions. The Dragons struggled against pitchers they faced for the first time this year — eight of them recorded wins. The system could help their hitters become better prepared against first-time pitchers.
The Dragons are also thinking about purchasing a Trackman system.
