Contract talks between Munenori Kawasaki and the Softbank Hawks are still ongoing. There may be an issue with Kawasaki’s legs (he hurt both Achilles tendons last season). The veteran skipped all post-season events and could also end up skipping parts or all of spring camp because of the injuries.
