[4/7/2018] Hiroshima Carp started the season by scoring five or more in seven straight

The Hiroshima Carp beat the Yokohama Bay Stars 7-3 on April 6 and tied a Central League record by scoring five or more runs in seven consecutive games from the start of the season. The record was also set by Yakult in 2008. The NPB record of eight was set by Nankai in 1985. The streak ended tonight when the Carp dropped their game against the Yokohama Bay Stars 4-2.
