[4/25/2018] Samurai Japan: Roster for 8th WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup

Samurai Japan released its roster for the 8th WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup. The tournament will take place in Florida between August 22 and 31.

[1/27/2018] JWBL to start on March 21

The Japan Women’s Baseball League will start on March 21 (Wednesday). The first game of the season will be Saitama Astraia vs Aichi Dione at Nagoya Dome.

Other Home Opener Dates

  • March 24 (Sat), 24 (Sun) – Saitama Astraia vs Kyoto Flora at Wakasa Stadium Kyoto
  • April 7 (Sat), 8 (Sun) – Kyoto Flora vs Saitama Astraia at Kawaguchi Stadium

[12/2/2017] JWBL’s Hyogo Dione moving to Aichi

The Japan Women’s Baseball League announced on December 2 that the Hyogo Dione will be moving to Aichi in 2018. The team name will change to the Aichi Dione.

The Hyogo Dione were based out of Awaji, Hyogo since 2015. They finished in first place, won the championship, and took home the Women’s Japan Cup in 2016.
