The tentative plan was for Shinnosuke Abe (right shoulder) to begin playing in rehab games at Ni-gun at catcher and make a return to the active roster in early-May. Unfortunately, he suffered a setback when he started feeling discomfort in his right shoulder on April 15. He has not done any throwing since then. He could resume throwing next week, but it might be a month before he is ready for a return.
