Dillon Gee was pulled from a game against Hiroshima at Nagoya Dome on April 21 because of general discomfort in his right arm and cold fingertips. Gee was taken off the active roster on April 22. He will undergo tests before the Chunichi Dragons decide what steps to take.

Gee was examined at a hospital in Japan on April 23. The Dragons announced today that Gee returned to the United States for additional tests. There is currently no timetable for his return.

Nikkan Sports is reporting that Gee will have surgery to treat blood flow problems in his right fingers.
