[3/2/2018] Haruhiro Hamaguchi scratched from Samurai Japan roster

Haruhiro Hamaguchi was scratched from the Samurai Japan roster on March 2 because of discomfort in his left shoulder. Samurai Japan manager Atsunori Inaba later told reporters he made the call because he did not want to risk Hamaguchi’s future by keeping him on the roster.

[1/23/2018] Partial Samurai Japan Roster Revealed

The Samurai Japan top team is slated to play Australia in the 2018 ENEOS Samurai Japan Series on March 3 (Saturday) at Nagoya Dome and March 4 (Sunday) at Kyocera Dome. A partial roster was unveiled during a press conference in Tokyo on January 23. The remaining twenty-two players will be released in February.
