Juri Hara was taken off the active roster today with some tightness in the right side of his back. The Yakult Swallows are expecting the tightness to go away within a few days.

Hara is expected to return to the active roster in time for a start on August 16 against the Yomiuri Giants. He told reporters on August 14 that his back felt fine.

Juri Hara (right subscapularis) and Tetsuya Yamamoto (right elbow, Tommy John) pitched in a Ni-gun game against Lotte at Lotte Urawa on September 1.
Hara started the game and gave up six runs on seven hits over 2.2 innings of work. He threw sixty-four pitches and topped out at 145km/h.
Yamamoto entered the game in the seventh inning and gave up three runs on three hits, including a solo home run and two-run home run, over one inning of work. He topped out at 144km/h.

Shingo Kawabata (right navicular bone) will play in his first Ni-gun rehab game some time this week. Assuming no setbacks, he could rejoin the active roster some time next week.
Juri Hara (right subscapularis) is scheduled to start a Ni-gun game against Lotte on September 1. He is slated to pitch three innings and throw about fifty pitches.

The Yakult Swallows announced that Juri Hara was examined at a hospital in Yokohama and diagnosed with strain in his right subscapularis muscle. He will be shut down for three to four weeks.0 Comments
Juri Hara’s night was cut short because of discomfort in his right shoulder.
Hara started tonight’s game against the Hiroshima Carp at Mazda Stadium. He tossed two perfect innings then allowed the first two hitters to reach base on singles in the third inning. Hara left the field after a visit from Shingo Takatsu (pitching coach) and Mitsuru Manaka motioned for a new pitcher.
The Yakult Swallows later announced Hara was removed from the game because of discomfort in his right shoulder

Juri Hara was taken off the active roster on June 13 because of his struggles with consistency. He pitched in a Ni-gun game against Lotte on June 19 and recorded a three-hit shutout victory. The Yakult Swallows could call him up for a start during the Hiroshima three-game series that begins on June 28.
