Twenty-seven-year-old pitcher Jun Hasegawa is looking for another chance to play professionally. He was selected by the Yomiuri Giants in the eighth round of the Ikusei draft in 2015. He made it to the active roster in 2016 and pitched in his first Ichi-gun game on May 6 of the same year. He was given his walking papers after the 2017 season and he spent this year as a batting practice pitcher for the Giants.
Hasegawa is not participating in today’s NPB tryout. He is instead considering options outside of Japan.0 Comments
