Ryosuke Ogata hurt his right knee during a Phoenix League game against Nippon Ham on October 15. He suffered the injury while attempting to steal second after reaching base on a walk in the second inning. He was unable to walk and had to be taken off the field on a stretcher. He was examined at a hospital in Miayzaki and diagnosed with a sprain in his right knee.

Ryosuke Ogata was not available for today’s exhibition game against the Chiba Lotte Marines. He was not feeling well and was taken to a hospital in Nishinomiya for an examination. He was diagnosed with gastroenteritis.
