Shota Suzuki is planning to have surgery to treat blood flow issues in his right index finger. Suzuki explained to reporters that the finger started hurting in July. After considering his options, he finally decided to go under the knife because he did not want to head into 2019 season worrying about the pain.
Suzuki will have the surgery some time later this month and should be able to resume throwing practices after about two months.

Shota Suzuki slipped and tweaked his left hamstring while pitching in the third inning of a game against the Hanshin Tigers are Nagoya Dome on August 18. He was pulled from the game and treated with ice. He was taken off the active roster today.0 Comments
