Yuki Yoshimura recorded two big home runs against the Rakuten Eagles on April 17: he tied the game in the ninth inning with a pinch-hit three-run home run and won the game on a walk-off two-run home run in the twelfth inning. He is the sixth player in NPB history (third in Pacific League history) to record a pinch-hit home run and walk-off home run in the same game, first since Hitoshi Tamura on May 10, 2013. He joined Tamotsu Kimura (May 18, 1961) as the only player in franchise history to accomplish the feat. Only one other player has hit a pinch-hit home run to tie a game in the ninth and hit a walk-off in extra innings: Yasuo Fujii on October 9, 1997.0 Comments
