Yasuo Sano felt discomfort in his left knee during his last start on June 17 against the Chunichi Dragons at Nagoya Dome. He was examined at a hospital in Tokyo on June 19 and diagnosed with a lateral meniscus injury. He is scheduled to go under the knife to treat the injury some time this month.
