The Orix Buffaloes announced today that Masataka Yoshida ended fall camp because of lower back pain. He returned to Osaka on November 9 and was examined at a hospital in Kobe today. He was diagnosed with muscle fatigue in his lower back.
Junichi Fukura told reporters Yoshida started feeling discomfort in his lower back pain while performing shuttle runs during practices on November 8. He had problems with his lower back earlier this year in April.
Ban Takagi returned to Osaka on November 10 because of right shoulder pain.
