Seishu Hatake was ejected from tonight’s Hanshin-Yomiuri game at Tokyo Dome for throwing a dangerous pitch to Hiroki Uemoto. The incident took place in the top of the first inning. Uemoto stepped into the batter’s box with a runner on second and no out. Hakate’s first pitch was up and in and struck Uemoto in the face, near his left cheek.0 Comments
August 27, 2017 vs Hanshin at Tokyo Dome – Hatake struck out eleven and became just the third rookie in Yomiuri Giants franchise history to recorded eleven or more strikeouts in two or more games (he also struck out eleven on July 26).
