The Yomiuri Giants are said to be interested in twenty-seven-year-old pitcher Gabriel Garcia, currently playing for the Shikoku Island League’s Tokushima Indigo Socks.

[5/26/2016] Yakult Swallows reach agreement with Jae-Hoon Ha

The Yakult Swallows announced today that they reached an agreement with Jae-Hoon Ha. He has been assigned the uniform number 00. A press conference will be held on May 30.

The Swallows held a press conference for Ha on May 30. He was assigned the uniform number 00. His name will be registered as Jae-Hoon. He is sated to join Ichi-gun practices on May 31.

According to media reports, the two sides agreed to a contract worth an estimated nine million yen plus incentives (good until the end of the current season).

[5/20/2016] Yakult Swallows interested in Jae-Hoon Ha

The Yakult Swallows are interested in twenty-five-year-old outfielder Jae-Hoon Ha. If discussions go well, they might be able to make an announcement about an agreement within the next few days.

Ha is currently playing for the Tokushima Indigo Socks out of the Shikoku Island League. He is hitting .370 batting average (34-for-92) with five home runs and seventeen RBI in twenty-four games (through May 19). He also has five stolen bases and has crossed the plate twenty-four times. Before joining Tokushima this year, he spent seven years in the Chicago Cubs organization.

According to Sports Hochi, the Rakuten Eagles are interested in twenty-five-year-old Jae-Hoon Ha. The outfielder is currently playing for the Tokushima Indigo Socks (26-for-68, 17 R, 3 HR, 13 RBI). They like his power from the right side and his speed.
