Stefen Romero drove in two runs with a double to right-center in the first inning of an exhibition game against the Yokohama Bay Stars earlier today. Later in the inning, a pickoff throw hit him near the right shoulder. He remained in the game until he was replaced on defense before the start of the third inning.
Romero received treatment after he was taken out of the game. There are currently no plans for him to the visit the hospital. He is considered day-to-day.

Romero is apparently having trouble raising his arm, but can still hit. He might be okay to play as a designated hitter.
