Hirokazu Sawamura has not pitched in a game since he was tossed from a Nippon Ham exhibition game on March 4 (he threw a dangerous pitch; it was his first and only pitch of the game). He was allowed to leave an exhibition game against Lotte at Zozo Marine early because he was not feeling well. The Yomiuri Giants will wait to see how he is feeling in four to five days. If there is a no improvement, he could end up missing the start of the season.
