Naomichi Donoue was scheduled to play in today’s exhibition game against the Seibu Lions, but was a late scratch because he felt discomfort in his right shoulder during pre-game fielding practice.
Alex Guerrero also missed today’s game — he felt mild pain in his left wrist during pre-game batting practice. He initially hurt the wrist while sliding into second during a game at Nagoya Dome last week.
[UPDATE 3/25 @ 9:48pm]
Guerrero told reporters on March 24 that the wrist was feeling better, though there was still some pain. He was able to swing the bat at about ninety percent during batting practice.
Donoue was able to participate in practices as usual on March 24.
