Kensuke Kondo did not play in today’s game against the Hashin Tigers at Koshien Stadium because of tightness in his right hamstring. He was examined at a hospital in Nishinomiya. An MRI did not reveal any bleeding or inflammation. He is considered day-to-day.

Kondo was re-examined at a hospital in Sapporo earlier today. An MRI once again revealed no internal bleeding or inflammation. He will most likely return to the starting line-up tomorrow (June 6).
