[11/13/2018] Hiroki Uemoto to stay with Hanshin for at least one more year

Thirty-two-year-old Hiroki Uemoto spoke to the media today after working out at the Naruohama facilities and said that he decided not to exercise his domestic free agent option. He will remain with the Hanshin Tigers for at least one more year. He was also offered a multi-year deal, but he opted for the one-year deal because he felt it was more appropriate based on his current status (he is working his way back from left knee surgery).
