Thirty-three-year-old Yoshihisa Hirano filed for free agency earlier today. A number of MLB teams, including the Cardinals and Red Sox, have shown some interest in the reliever.

He received a nice offer from the Buffaloes, but for the time being, his top priority is to sign with an MLB team that wants him and will give him a chance to play.
