[8/23/2017] Taiki Ono leaves start with leg cramp

Taiki Ono felt discomfort in his right leg (cramp in calf) while pitching in tonight’s game against the Yakult Swallows at Jingu Stadium. He left the field for treatment after he threw one pitch to Nobuyuki Okumura with a runner on first and one out in the fourth inning. He returned to the mound, but the Hanshin Tigers ended up replacing him with a reliever after he tried throwing one practice pitch.

Ono could be taken off the active roster depending on his condition.
